Itinerary
The itinerary below is based on our recommended day to day itinerary, however as this is a private yacht tour it can customised to your specifications. Contact us for more information about customised itineraries...click here...

Day One

Private transport from the airport, your hotel or residence to Manoel Island Yacht Marina.

Welcome Aboard! Meet your skipper and settle into your cabins. As your skipper prepares for departure (at 0900hrs), grab a cool drink and make sure you are on deck not to miss the views of the magnificent fortified harbour as you sail out of port. The early part of the day is a great opportunity to get to know your skipper and discuss your itinerary.

Our first bay of call is 'Slugs Bay', it is much more beautiful than what it sounds. Slugs Bay is located just off Mellieha Bay which is the most popular beach location in Malta. Here you will have an option to anchor.

We continue hugging the coastline towards the smallest of our islands, Comino. Here we will drop anchor in a couple of bays including Santa Maria, Blue Lagoon or Crystal Lagoon, the sea is crystal clear and you will have plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling. After lunch maybe take a siesta...or an optional speedboat or jet ski trip around the numerous caves, inlets and creeks. These are provided by local operators and are available at a local charge. Your skipper will be happy to organise this for you.

We will depart late afternoon and head over to the island of Gozo. On arrival at the pretty port of Mgarr, normally between 1700hrs and 1800hrs you may choose to go ashore to do some sightseeing around Gozo Island. There is a mini market in the area, bars and a good choice of restaurants, mainly specialising in fish although other cuisine is also available for the non fish lovers.

Comino Island - Ta Cenc Cliffs/Fungus Rock - Calypso Cave
(tour)

Day Two

After breakfast transport and our local guide will pick up from your yacht for a full day tour of Gozo.

Our tour is a combination of scenic spots, historical sites and local culture. We feature most of the main highlights during our tour including the oldest free standing temples in the world, known as Ggantija Temples, we will pass through quaint sleepy villages that characterise Gozo's unique charm, visit stunning sites such as Calypso Cave which offers magnificent views over the red sands of Ramla Bay. Just before lunch we will also stop at the Fontana Cottage where you can sample local delicacies such as sun dried tomatoes, olive pate, local cheeslets, wines liquors and anything made locally, you will also have some time for a spot of shopping for popular buys such as lace. Free time for lunch will be at the pretty bay of Xlendi. After lunch we continue our tour to Ta Pinu Shrine and include a visit to the main town on Gozo, Victoria and The Citadel. The Citadel is a small fortified city that dominates the heights above Victoria. The history of The Citadel dates back to an early period when Gozo was under Roman and Arab occupation. The views from its fortified walls offer panoramas of the whole island. Our tour comes to an end and we make our way back to your yacht in the late afternoon at approx. 1500hrs.

After your tour we will set off to a bay in southern Gozo or return to a different bay on the small island of Comino for a swim in the crystal clear waters. Drinks and afternoon snack will be prepared for you before we return back to Mgarr port for your overnight stay.

 The Citadel
(tour) - Ramla l-Hamra

Day Three

After breakfast we set off exploring the stunning islands of Gozo and Comino. We head south of Gozo passing the cliffs of Ta Cenc Cliffs. These cliffs are similar to the Dingli Cliffs along the west coast of Malta and are unique vertical or near-vertical rock faces which rise from the sea to heights of up to 70-130m above sea level and in some places continuing down to depths of 80 metres below sea level. Our first anchorage will be at the beautiful area of Dwejra. Here there are number of interesting features including Fungus Rock which is a small islet and on it grows a rare plant which was believed to be used by the Knights of St. John to cure their wounded soldiers. The Azure Window is a spectacular table-like arched rock over the sea and the Inland Sea, this geological attraction was created millions of years ago when two limestone caves collapsed. This resulted in the creation of the 'Inland Sea' and a small cave like passage which opens onto the sea. Jacques Cousteau claims that the Inland Sea and nearby Blue Hole was among his top ten dives.

We continue around the north of the island, passing Ramla l-Hamra (Red Sands) our lunch location. Here we will drop anchor in the bay and you can swim, snorkel or relax onboard with a cool drink until lunch is prepared.

We set off mid afternoon, heading back towards Malta. You may stay on deck and enjoy the coastal views of the North/North East coast or take enjoy afternoon siesta... Our route back will take us past St. Paul's Island which is said to be where St. Paul was shipwrecked in AD60, a statue stands on the island which is dedicated to our patron saint. We continue, passing 'White Rocks', St. Julians and the Sliema coast before arriving back to the main port and the Manoel Island Yacht Marina at approx. 1700hrs.

Transport will be waiting for you at the port to take you to the airport, your residence or hotel for the remainder of your stay.
Bon Voyage!
