Transfer 2 hour Tour

You can start your Transfer Tour from any location. If you have luggage this will accompany you on tour.

Our 2 hour tour suggestions include:

Option 1

Tour to Valletta (Barraka Gardens. Merchants/Republic Streets, St. John's Co. Cathedral)

Valletta which was built by the Knights of St. John in 1566. Here we include the Barrakka Gardens which offer stunning views of the Grand Harbour and magnificent fortifications, a walk down Triq Repubblika where you can admire numerous historical buildings built by the Knights of St. John including the Auberges, the Grand Master's Palace and the St. John's Co. Cathedral, the Church of the Order and also home to Caravaggio's masterpiece "Beheading of St. John" amongst other treasures.

We end our tour of the city with a Panoramic drive around the cities impressive parameter and fortified walls.

At this stage our tour comes to an end and we make our way to your drop off location.


!Note Certain places of interest such as St. John's Co. Cathedral do not open on Saturday afternoon, Sunday's and Public Holiday's. This will be replaced with an alternative site such as the Grand Master's Palace.


Option 2
Tour to Blue Grotto, Hagar Qim Temples & Visitors Centre

In the afternoon we proceed to our next stop which will be the ancient site of Hagar Qim. Before entering the temple site we start at the new visitors centre where you can easily understand how these magnificent temples where built over 7000 years ago! We then continue with a short tour around this incredible ancient temple which has the largest and heaviest megaliths out of all the temple sites around the Maltese Islands, some slabs which form the outer wall weighing a staggering 20 tons.

After a short drive from the temples we will soon arrive at the Blue Grotto. This picturesque grotto and its neighboring system of sea caverns mirrors the brilliant phosphorescent colors of underwater flora. Boat trips, which take around 25 minutes allow you to explore these grottoes and sea caverns along this stretch of coast (the boat trip is not included in the overall price as it operates subject to weather conditions, allow 8).

At this stage our tour comes to an end and we make our way to your drop off location.

Option 3
Tour to Mdina Medieval City & Rabat

We start this tour with a visit to to the medieval city of Mdina. Mdina is built on a plateau in the centre of the island, the city's old Baroque buildings, Cathedral and magnificent bastion walls dominate the rural skyline. Mdina, once the capital of Malta until the modern city of Valletta was built had many names including Melite (Roman occupation), Medina (Arabic occupation), Citta Notabile (Knights of St. John) and Citta Vecchia (after Valletta was built). Today it is also referred to as the Silent City since it inspires tranquillity at any time of the day or night. The only way to really experience and enjoy this city is on foot, explore the quaint alleys, narrow streets, ancient buildings and magnificent far reaching views from the high bastion walls. During our tour of Mdina our guide will point out the Cathedral which is built on the site of the Roman Governors residence was.

After our tour of Mdina we will the old town of Rabat. We will make our way through the narrow streets to the centre which is dominated by the imposing St. Paul's Church which overlooks the piazza. Rabat, can claim the origins of Maltese Christianity. It was here in AD60 that the Apostle St Paul is said to have stayed after being shipwrecked on the Islands.

At this stage our tour comes to an end and we make our way to your drop off location.

Please note that if your tour includes visits to historical sites and/or fortified cities such as Mdina, Birgu and Valletta and you opt for a tour without a Licensed Tour Guide it means that you will have to 'self visit' these sites.
